The winter box program will contain a good collection of vegetables making winter cooking healthy and enjoyable at a time when there is limited local and organic produce available elsewhere. We will include staple items like potatoes, carrots, sweet potatoes, onions plus lots of other great veggies like spinach, kale, salad mix, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, different kinds of winter squash, parsnips, garlic, beets, leeks, celery root, and more! The shares might also include certified organic products from other local (NB), regional (PEI, NS, QC & ONT) and in some cases organic imports in the case of items such as lemons or other products not always easy to come by in our parts during the winter months.

The program will run from November 9th to late February, skipping a week over the holidays. They will be made available bi-weekly on Wednesdays from 4pm to 6pm for a total of 8 weeks/boxes but are larger than the typical summer boxes you are used to.

Apart from the timing and contents of the box, everything is quite similar to the summer program. The pickup at the farm location is the same and we offer both Basic and Family size shares.

SUMMER 2023 CSAs

Sign-Ups Begin January 2023

(Pickups Begin June 21/22 - October 18/19)

Do you want amazing garden-fresh, organic veggies for your family all summer and early fall?

Welcome to Moncton's only Certified Organic Farm Weekly Vegetable Shares!

Week after week, during the span of 18 weeks, you'll be bringing home local, non-gmo & organic vegetables

grown right here on the farm, picked up at the farm at 1176 Ryan St/Road, in the city limits of Moncton!

CSA is short for Community Supported Agriculture and is a method that is used for residents to purchase a 'share' of the upcoming season's harvests.

With our heated greenhouses, tunnels and field growing, coupled with our innovative growing methods, we are able to start our harvests start earlier than most. Tender greens, juicy cucumbers, tasty carrots and delicious tomatoes are just a few of seasonal treats you can look forward to.  We grow more than 35 varieties of vegetables on the farm so your basket will be an ever changing box of delights.  The CSAs evolve over the weeks as different vegetables become available as the weeks progress.

Don't like a specific vegetable?  Our solution is a weekly 'SWAP BASKET' with which you can trade in a specific vegetable for another.

HIGHLIGHTS:

- Previous years subscribers have benefited in 20-25% savings overall vs purchasing items via retail options.

- Eco-Friendly Personalized Bins (You bring your own bag or box to transfer your share into every week, no waste!)

- We only use plastic bags when necessary to ensure best quality  (ie spinach)

- Option to have a friend of other family member pick up your share if you are away

-Access to purchase items from our onsite farm store containing other organic produce, meats & more!

If you have children, they typically favor food from 'their' farm - even veggies they've never wanted to eat before!

Develop a relationship with the farmer who grows your food and learn more about how food is grown

Some of what we plan on offering again this year:

Carrots, Kale, Swiss Chard, Beans, Peas, Tomatoes (Beefsteak & Cherry), Squash (Summer & Winter), Strawberries, Blueberries, Lettuces, Spinach, Onions, Garlic, Shallots, Herbs, Potatoes, Peppers, Cucumbers, Turnips & More!  Please note that, as every farmer/gardener is aware, sometimes crops may fail.

Note: Even though our greenhouses and tunnels increase our overall success rate as weather elements can be controlled,  we, like all farmers, are not able to 'guarantee' any specific fruit or vegetable grown will yield a harvest as we are unable to forecast a lack of, or excessive, heat or rain in any given season.

Options of Wednesday or Thursdays pickups between 3pm - 6pm
